Blessing Umugbe Bio
BC is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 17 years of experience in psychiatry and over three decades of nursing experience. She began her nursing career as a Registered Nurse in 1994, developing a strong clinical foundation that has guided her work in mental health care.
She earned her Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, and later obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois. Her advanced education and extensive clinical experience have equipped her to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across diverse patient populations.
She is committed to professional excellence and continued learning and is an active member of several respected professional organizations, including the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Neuroscience Education Institute, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
